Yes, I have been away for long time. I got tired of the blog and felt I had nothing to say to you. The pause have  helped me to collect my vits and I hope I have more to tell you in near future. This Year has so far offered its ups and downs – and even adventures.

Few weeks ago couple of my older colleagues discussed about blogging. While I see blogging liberating thing, because I am able to express myself anonymously, they felt it like a loosing privacy. For sure this is a very public diary, but writing diary is rather lonely thing, when nobody is never going to respond for your thought and feelings. Blogging for me is essentially social upgrade for diary.

These older ladies considered blogging as somebody peeking inside your brains and stealing your inner thoughts. I myself see blogging more like exchange of ideas and discussion. It is like somebody tells a story and others discuss about it. I don’t just write about my thoughts and feelings, I also read other people blogging them selves and I am inspired by them.

And of course I have to be on-line occasionally, if I don’t like to loose the connection entirely, but there is no need to tell every morning how I feel. It is not like I have to write every thought and feeling. I write when I feel like it and when writing gives me either pleasure or comfort. I don’t write if it makes me feel  distressed.

Even if I blog, I still own my feelings and thoughts. They are still mine and nobody else’s. They cannot be suddenly surgically removed from me. They are mine. I don’t feel like loosing, when I am blogging, I feel like gaining. That is thanks to you, who read me and even more for those, who also answer to me. Thank you!

I’ve now finished the first year of this blog. [I wrote my first postings Hello People! and Dreaming of Hunky Filmstar exactly a year ago: 18th of January 2007.] A bit of ups and downs. Many of my readers have disappeared and others appeared.  In early January I broke my 20000 visitors of which over 10% visited Some “Stupid Girls”, or are they?. Occasionally I’ve wished I had not written about them.

The popular articles have been:

Kissing is Relative, which is a great competitor of Stupid Girls in the daily scenes since I wrote it.

Girl Feeling Giraffe has also been popular and I’ve noticed that other tall girls have suffered from the same phenomenon.

My articles of Italian men especially “I love you, I need you!” have also been pop, but also criticized as well. I have to admit that I was little a bit mean here.

Runner ups have been such postings as Can Men and Women be True Friends?, Shyness is not Unsexy (in Men) and Too Picky? Or Too Shy?

And this was my 160th post.

I want to thank all of you have been participating whit me on making this blog. Although I originally started to write for therapeutic reasons, I have truly enjoyed many of the discussions during this year.

I am not so sure about myself being so nice – especially lately, but here it comes: I got “The Nice Matters Award” from Modobs and I am sharing it whit 7 others as asked.

This is award for: “those that are just nice people, good blog friends, and those that inspire good feelings and inspiration! Those that care about others, that are there to lend support, or those that are just a positive influence in our blogging world!”.

Not expecting you to continue this, but still…

You may have noticed the little yellow face in the left and if you have been paying attention you might have noticed that it changes at best several times a day. I’ve been trying to notice my feelings and it does good to me.

I have to admit that my feelings are often blurry. I have a bit of an attention problem and paying attention on my feelings is not easy, so punkymoods have been great exercises. It gives a possibility to went out feeling whit-out always needing to write them down. Lately my feelings have been rather blurry and writing light-hearted quite difficult.

My mother seems to blame others for her feelings. I’ve been learning that much – especially lately – that I know that there is only me to blame. It is wisdom gained in the hard way. Sometimes there may be other culprits for ones feelings as well, but in my case the greatest blame lays on me. When I’m feeling low it is my inner demons that haunt me – not some aliens.

I don’t know if it is a short of maturity, but I have realised I need to take responsibility of my feelings. I can’t blame others, like my mother does, because it is not fair to them. I am firm believer of fair in all things and especially in relationships. Blaming others for something they cannot influence is wrong. It is strange, when one understands one has gained maturity beyond ones own parents.

I think many women have tendency of blaming men on their feelings and forcing men to carry the responsibility of how they feel. My mother was no exception, although my daddy tried to avoid it best he could. Men can be moody too, but they avoid others more than try to make them take responsibility. Yet I have to admit, I wouldn’t mind to cuddle when I am feeling low. Men don’t seem to understand that sometimes best way to solve a problem is to give a bear hug.

I started this blog January 17th this year. In this first half year I’ve got over 10 000 visits. I know there are blogs that people visit more often, but for my blog, I think, it is still quite nice figure.

Before this post there has been total of 100 bloggings and 153 comments. Average views per day is something between 30-40.

So what brings strangers here?

My most popular post this far has definately been Stupid Girls about the Paris etc. People find my blog, when they try to find things about:
