Future Heartbrakers

There was these small dark boys about 10 or 12 years old or maybe slightly older. I was wondering whether one of them was of Indian origin, because he had the looks, when they started to try to whistle after me. I say try, because it was more like huffing and puffing. It made me smile.

I thought  it was kind of sweet – although I am not sure would I have thought if they’d been slightly older. And when they had started I heard them trying to do it again for other ladies when I waited for train in the local railway stop. It was evening and quite of a busy time so there were a lot of people walking by and they did it several times while I stood close by.

Later I thought it was kind of sad that attention I am able to recognise comes from either those far too young or those too old for my taste.
